Bundanon or Life in the Bush, 2018
This movie is the result of an art residency at Bundanon in the Shoalhaven River area on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia.
During Coline’s 6-week residence, she made and edited an experimental documentary using footage from her varied experiences in the Bundanon site.
The title is a reference to Walden, Or Life in the Wood, by American author Henry-David Thoreau, an account of his experience of the world in a cabin close to Walden Pond.
Taking the form of a sequence of poems, the film offers snapshots of her experience: encounters with other artists in residence, dancers, writers, sculptors, weather events, anecdotes about the painter Arthur Boyd, meanderings in the Australian bush…

Modern Witches a été filmé pendant le programme de résidence art et travail, et montre 13 femmes chefs d'entreprise, à travers l'histoire du livre de Marguerite Porete, qui fût brulée pour son ouvrage intitulé "Le miroir des âmes simples et anéanties".
Le projet a pris deux formes : Modern Witches, une vidéo de 8minutes, ainsi que Le miroir des âmes, un documentaire expérimental de 24min.
Modern Witches was filmed during an art&work program residency, and shows 13 women earning their companies, through the story of a book by Marguerite Porete, burnt as an heretical on a witch-hunt with her inspiring book encouraging self-care : The mirror of simple souls.
The project has two forms : Modern Witches, 8minutes long video & Mirror of souls, experimental documentary, 24minutes-long.

Résidence en entreprise avec le FCE OISE - Françoise pour l'œuvre contemporaine en société
« So Far », est une expression anglaise qui se traduit littéralement par « si loin », en écho la situation isolée des sites et à la distance qui sépare les deux côtes, aussi bien qu’elle signifie « jusqu’à présent », et évoque la précarité des phares, colosses aux pieds d’argile, ainsi que la disparition du métier de gardien de phare et l’automatisation des systèmes de surveillance.
On entendra aussi une sonorité commune entre « far » = loin en anglais et « phare » français, ce projet voulant faire le pont entre les deux rives, sous la forme d'une enquête géo-poétique.
Portraits of two lighthouses keepers, one on the French coast, in an abandoned place, through the voice of one of its last inhabitant, one on the English coast, at Belle-Tout, famous touristic place, which was turned into a luxury hostel for famous guests.
‘So Far’ literally means ‘in the distance’ in French, and evoke the isolated places I filmed. It also means ‘until now’ and refers to the paradoxal fragility of these buildings.
One can also hear the French word for ‘lighthouse’ : ‘ phare’ as an echo, as this project was written in the idea of building a poetic bridge between the two places.
